Submitting Logs
Logs for the SA Parks Award can currently be uploaded automatically to
this database in an ADIF format only. Other formats may be added in the
future but this is currently the only format accepted. A detailed guide
on how to use this functionality in Adobe Acrobat PDF format can be
downloaded here. Here are some FAQs relating to this functionality.
Please note that you must supply a separate ADIF file for each
activation. Including multiple activations in a single file will cause
problems with accuracy of the database records.

Do I need to fill in all of the fields
to register?
Yes, all fields are required for you to register for your login and you
will be unable to submit the form until these are completed.
Why do fields highlight and display
messages and not allow me to submit the form to register?
The SA Parks Award database has been set up to require data in a
certain format and the requirements for each field are clearly
indicated above it.
I did not receive my confirmation
email. What can I do?
If you are confident that you entered your email address correctly then
please check any junk/spam mail folders since these emails are often
filtered in there. If you have not received our email then please
contact us and we will fix this for you.

When I attempt to login, it indicates
that my account is not active.
When you registered for your login, we sent you an email with a
confirmation link to activate your account. Did you receive this and

SUBMITTING LOGS
How do I submit my log?
You can do this as follows:-
- Login to the SA Parks Award database site and go to the Upload
Log page via the navigation in the top right hand corner.
- Select the park you activated from the Park Activated list.
- Upload your ADIF file using the Browse button.
- Select from one of the three ADIF file choices - see our
instructional Adobe Acrobat PDF file for further information.
- Select any Park to Park contacts from the Any Park to Park
Contacts dropdown list. Please note this is for the single park to park
contact where you can claim both activator and hunter points (one only
allowed) from your activation.
- Include any further Park to Park contacts where you are claiming
Hunter points only in the box separating each park by commas without
any spaces.
- Click the Submit Log button to submit your log.
- The database processes the log and will indicate whether there
are any problems or confirm the entry of your log and show a listing of
the contacts entered. No contacts are entered if there are any errors
found.
Why do I get a message when uploading
my ADIF log file that only ADI files are allowed?
Your log file needs to be named with a file extension of .adi, so for
example mylog.adi is acceptable but mylog.ADI, mylog.jpg or mylog.pdf
is not.
Why do I get a message indicating that
a file of that name already exists?
When you submit your log it is uploaded to our server and then parsed
(processed). It is not possible to store more than one file in a
folder/directory with the same name so this error will occur if you
attempt to submit the same named file. The solution is to rename the
file to another name.
When uploading my log, I received an
error that the ADIF file could not be used and to check its contents.
Please ensure that you download and read our Adobe Acrobat PDF
instructional document relating to the ADIF file requirements for the
SA Parks database.
